Kuwait condemns statements by the occupation ministers regarding the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza

-Confirmed rejection of imposing a new demographic or geographic reality, and stressed that the Gaza Strip is part of the occupied Palestinian territories

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of statements issued by two ministers in the Israeli occupation government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, given that they constitute a blatant violation of the inalienable rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry reiterated the State of Kuwait’s categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the fraternal Palestinian people, calling on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities in countering any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories.

It emphasized that such proposals undermine international efforts aimed at achieving peace, foremost among them former U.S. President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which included a categorical rejection of forced displacement, warning of their serious repercussions on the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region.

The Ministry stressed that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and underscored the necessity of preserving the unity of the Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

It reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s firm and supportive stance toward the Palestinian cause, and the fraternal Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
