Aman Ahali arrests two individuals in Salimiyah with 163 bags suspected of containing heroin

The Directorate of Security Directorates Affairs, represented by the Al-Hawalli Governorate Security Directorate, arrested two individuals in the Salmiya area, with 163 bags suspected of containing heroin in their possession. This operation is part of the continuous security efforts to combat the scourge of drugs and apprehend their traffickers.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the arrest took place during a reconnaissance patrol by a security unit in the area. The suspects attempted to flee and discard the bags, but they were subdued.

The ministry clarified that the total number of seized items amounted to 163 bags, with 75 bags in the possession of the first suspect and 88 bags in the possession of the second suspect.

The suspects and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
