Security campaign in Sukkar Al-Salmi and Amghra arrests violators, wanted persons, and diesel thieves
The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Administration of Criminal Investigations (Operations Department), conducted a security operation in the Al-Salmiya scrapyard and the Umghara area, as part of ongoing security efforts to apprehend violators and wanted individuals and enforce the law.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation resulted in the registration of 43 violations of the Labor Law by holders of residency permits under Article 18, and the apprehension of 22 violators of the Residency Law by holders of residency permits under Article 20, along with the arrest of three individuals against whom absence reports had been filed.
It added that the operation also led to the apprehension of two individuals involved in diesel theft cases, street vendors, and a Kuwaiti national for whom an arrest warrant had been issued in connection with a drug-related case.
The Ministry confirmed that the necessary legal measures were taken against those apprehended and referred to the competent authorities.
