Bahraini Crown Prince: Solid Bonds and Shared Aspirations Are the Foundation for Strengthening Joint Gulf Cooperation
Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed today, Sunday, that the firm ties and shared aspirations uniting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states form a solid foundation for building upon the achievements attained in the course of joint Gulf work, and for advancing cooperation tracks to more advanced levels across various fields, thereby realizing the visions and aspirations of the Council’s leaders, may God protect them.
This statement came during a meeting held by the Bahraini Crown Prince at the Riffa Palace with the heads of delegations participating in the 12th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Health, including Kuwaiti Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi. The meeting is hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, which holds the chairmanship of the 46th session of the GCC Council.
During the meeting, the heads of delegations conveyed greetings from the leaders of the GCC states to the King of Bahrain and the Bahraini Crown Prince. Prince Salman bin Hamad, in turn, conveyed the greetings of the King of Bahrain and his own greetings to the leaders of the GCC states.

Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continuous commitment, under the leadership of Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to support various initiatives and directions that aim to realize the shared aspirations of the GCC states toward greater cooperation and integration at all levels.
He expressed his wishes for the success of the meeting, hoping it would contribute to further enhancing coordination and joint cooperation to develop the health system and improve the quality and efficiency of health systems and services in GCC states, with benefits that would positively impact everyone.
He highlighted the importance of implementing the directives issued by the GCC leaders concerning the health sector, which would contribute to developing the quality of health services and strengthening Gulf medical readiness, thereby achieving further progress and prosperity for the GCC states and their citizens.
For their part, the heads of delegations participating in the 12th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Health expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his keen interest and support for joint Gulf work, particularly in the health sector, and his commitment to developing the health system and enhancing its readiness. They also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
