Emirati President and Bahraini King Discuss Strengthening Cooperation and Regional and International Issues

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held talks on Saturday with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to discuss various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts between the two countries, as well as ways to enhance them, in a manner that serves their developmental priorities and shared interests and brings prosperity and progress to their fraternal peoples.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the meeting took place in the presence of the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The two sides exchanged cordial remarks reflecting the deep-rooted brotherly relations that bind the two countries and their fraternal peoples.

The agency added that the meeting also addressed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging views on them.
