Ministry of Food: 41 violations and seizure of adulterated food items in inspection campaigns in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the inspection department of the Al-Mubarrah Al-Kabir Governorate, carried out a joint security and supervisory campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, resulting in the issuance of nine violation reports covering the trade of adulterated food and violations of health requirements, licenses, and health certificates.

The Authority stated in a press release that adulterated food of unknown origin, weighing a total of 12.299 kilograms, was seized and destroyed.

It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its supervisory and inspection rounds to safeguard food safety and consumer health.

In the Hawalli Governorate, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the governorate’s inspection department, conducted inspections at several food establishments, resulting in the issuance of 32 violation reports, four destruction reports, and two undertakings. The seized quantities were destroyed, and legal action was taken against the violators to ensure compliance with health regulations and to protect consumer health.
