Al-Salam Hospitals and Kuwait Finance House Continue Partnership
Within the “Al Salam Summer Club” for the second consecutive year, enhancing health awareness and community participation
Al Salam Hospitals and Kuwait Finance House (KFH) continued their partnership for the second consecutive year under the “Al Salam Summer Club,” an annual program focused on health and wellness. The initiative aims to introduce children to healthy habits and basic healthcare skills through interactive activities tailored to their age groups, reaffirming both institutions’ firm commitment to promoting health awareness and community engagement.
This year’s summer club was held at Al Salam Capital Hospital, welcoming approximately 300 children aged between 7 and 12. The program featured a diverse range of activities, including first aid, proper nutrition, physical fitness, and general health, as well as oral and dental care. The activities combined hands-on learning with age-appropriate applications, making health education more accessible and enjoyable.

As part of this collaboration, Kuwait Finance House supported the Al Salam Summer Club for the children of bank employees and its clients. This cooperation builds upon the partnership between Al Salam Hospitals and KFH during the 2025 edition of the program, reflecting both parties’ commitment to community participation, health awareness, and social responsibility.
Marking the conclusion of this year’s summer club, Dr. Raghd Abdulmottaleb Al-Kazemi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Al Salam Capital Hospital and Director of Al Salam Ahmadi Hospital, stated: “The Al Salam Summer Club is one of the initiatives we are particularly proud of. It began more than ten years ago as a summer course teaching children the basics of first aid, and has since evolved into a comprehensive annual program that introduces children to various aspects of health and wellness in an environment that encourages participation, questioning, and experiential learning.”
Dr. Al-Kazemi added: “Our ongoing collaboration with Kuwait Finance House as a strategic partner allows us to build on the program’s successes and expand its impact within the community. We share a firm commitment to investing in initiatives that benefit children and families, and we believe that instilling healthy habits and enhancing basic healthcare knowledge from an early age can leave a positive and lasting impact.”
The summer club is part of Al Salam Hospitals’ broader commitment to promoting health awareness among children, alongside other initiatives such as the “Little Health Heroes” program. This year-round initiative welcomes children from various schools in Kuwait to visit several medical departments at Al Salam Capital Hospital and Al Salam Ahmadi Hospital, and to participate in interactive activities designed to introduce them to health and wellness concepts from an early age.
Through these initiatives, Al Salam Hospitals continues its efforts to extend health awareness beyond the hospital setting and reach the wider community.
