Ministry of Education issues 6,117 electronic transfer decisions for teachers and administrators in accordance with school needs

- 5,142 teachers and 975 administrators approved out of 16,182 total applications

The Ministry of Education announced the issuance of electronic transfer decisions for teaching and administrative staff working in schools, in implementation of the directives of Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai, and as part of the continued enhancement of digital transformation across various services. These decisions were made in accordance with the actual needs of schools and available vacancies, and in compliance with the controls and standards adopted by the relevant sectors.

The Ministry clarified that teaching and administrative staff whose transfer requests were approved will receive a notification via the notifications service in the government app "Sahel." The message will inform them of the approval of their transfer request in accordance with the established controls and standards, and invite them to visit the Ministry’s website via "Administrative Services - My Data - Transfer Data" to view their new work location, or to access the Ministry’s app "My Decisions" to view the transfer decision in PDF format in the coming days.

The Ministry emphasized that the new transfer mechanism relies on meeting the actual needs of each school in alignment with the preferences of teachers and administrators. It ensures an equitable distribution of teaching and administrative staff according to available vacancies and reduces human intervention in the transfer process, thereby enhancing transparency and fairness in administrative decision-making.

It added that the Ministry strives to achieve a balance between the needs of the educational field and the preferences of teaching and administrative staff, contributing to the stability of the educational process.

The Ministry stated that the total number of electronic transfer requests submitted by teaching and administrative staff working in schools reached 16,182. Of these, 6,117 electronic transfer decisions were issued, representing approximately 37.8% of the total requests.

It clarified that the decisions included 5,142 teachers out of 13,968 requests, with an implementation rate of 36.8%, and 975 administrative staff members out of 2,214 requests, with an implementation rate of 44%.

The Ministry explained that the implementation of transfer decisions was carried out in accordance with the announced conditions and controls, based on the actual needs of each school and available vacancies. Requests were ranked by seniority in appointment date, with priority given to older employees in case of a tie, and then to those with higher competency evaluations if the tie persisted.

The Ministry noted that the transfer decisions issued in this phase included teachers and administrative staff working in schools. Decisions for supervisory positions will be issued later, covering school principals, assistant principals, heads of subject departments, technical supervisors, educational guides, and chief educational guides. These will be issued after completing the necessary procedures and considering the needs and requirements of the educational field in accordance with established controls and standards.

The Ministry announced the opening of an electronic appeal window for transfer request results via its official website for three days, from Sunday, September 6, to Tuesday, September 8, 2026. This applies to teaching and administrative staff who previously submitted transfer requests. The system allows applicants to monitor the status of their appeals electronically, without the need for paper submissions or personal visits.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the principles of transparency and equal opportunity, providing applicants with the opportunity to state the reasons for appealing transfer results, pending review and consideration by the competent authorities in accordance with established controls, standards, and the needs of the educational field.

The Ministry urged all concerned parties to continuously monitor its official channels and website to stay informed of any updates or regulatory decisions pertaining to transportation movements or the affairs of the educational and administrative bodies.
