Customs Authority Chief Discusses with Pakistani Ambassador Strengthening Cooperation and Exchange of Expertise and Information
The Director General of the General Authority of Customs, Yousef Al-Nuwaime, held talks on Thursday with Pakistani Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Zafar Iqbal to explore ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in customs matters.
The General Authority of Customs stated in a press release that the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest, particularly strengthening the exchange of expertise and information to facilitate procedures and support the smooth flow of trade between the two countries.
The visit comes in line with the Authority’s commitment to expanding cooperation with diplomatic missions and developing communication and coordination channels to serve shared interests and consolidate bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by Saleh Al-Omar, Deputy Director General of the General Authority of Customs for Ports and Customs Research and Investigation, along with the delegation accompanying the Pakistani ambassador.
