'Affairs' Dissolves a Public Benefit Association After Completing Legal Procedures

The Ministry of Social Affairs announced the issuance of a decision to dissolve one of the public benefit associations, in accordance with its mandate to supervise and monitor such associations, and in compliance with the laws and regulations governing civil society work in the State of Kuwait.

The ministry clarified that the decision came after completing the prescribed legal and administrative procedures, and following the review and assessment of the association’s status by the competent authorities, ensuring the application of legal provisions and the preservation of institutional integrity.

It reaffirmed its continued oversight of public benefit associations and its commitment to taking necessary measures in accordance with the law, thereby reinforcing compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and safeguarding the objectives for which civil society institutions were established.

The ministry noted that all procedures related to the dissolution will be completed in accordance with applicable legal provisions and relevant regulatory decisions.
