Saudi Al-Bahri Company: Two Filipino workers killed in accident involving tanker 'Sidr' while transiting the Strait of Hormuz
Al-Bahri Saudi Company announced the death of two crew members of the tanker “Sidr,” who were of Filipino nationality, following a security incident that the tanker suffered while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on August 31.
The company clarified that the tanker, which flies the Saudi flag, was involved in the incident while sailing through the strait, confirming the death of the two Filipino sailors as a result of the accident.
It added that it maintains continuous contact with the vessel and is closely coordinating with the relevant authorities and stakeholders in the maritime sector, while closely monitoring developments.
