Qatar's Foreign Ministry: We are working with all partners to reach a peaceful solution and reopen the Strait of Hormuz
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Majid Al-Ansari, confirmed on Tuesday that discussions with Oman and Pakistan are ongoing regarding de-escalation measures in the region.
Al-Ansari stated that “leaving the Strait of Hormuz crisis unresolved will lead to escalation and harm everyone,” emphasizing that his country is working with its partners to achieve a peaceful resolution and reopen the strait.
He added that Qatar had warned against Israel exploiting the regional escalation to impose a new reality, noting that Doha is cautioning against Israel imposing a new reality in Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian areas.
