First Deputy Prime Minister Inspects Forensic Evidence and Reviews the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Detecting Forgery

- Directed to continue development efforts that enhance performance efficiency and result accuracy, and support the security system

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, conducted an inspection visit to the General Administration of Criminal Evidence to review the progress of work, performance levels, and key technical and technological developments, as part of his commitment to monitoring and elevating the work system across all sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

He was received by the Head of the Criminal Security Affairs Sector, Brigadier General Fahad Al-Bader, the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, Brigadier General Abdulrahim Al-Awadi, his deputy, Brigadier General Mishaari Al-Risha, and several department directors and their deputies.

During the visit, Sheikh Al-Yousif listened to a welcome address in which the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence outlined the administration’s aspirations and plans to continue development and elevate work standards. He also viewed a visual presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in the criminal field and its applications in identity verification and forgery detection.

He also conducted an inspection tour covering several departments and laboratories, where he reviewed the nature of work, the procedures for processing, and the specialized technical services provided by the administration.

At the conclusion of the visit, Sheikh Al-Yousif issued several directives supporting the ongoing development and elevation of work standards, aimed at enhancing performance efficiency and result accuracy, and contributing to strengthening the security system.
