Trump: Iran is a failed state... but that doesn't mean we won't strike it

- The Strait of Hormuz is in excellent condition, with approximately 30 ships transiting daily under the protection of the U.S. military

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran is a “failed state,” but emphasized that this “does not mean we will not strike them,” adding regarding potential strikes on Iran: “We will see what happens.”

Trump further claimed that Iran does not pay its soldiers’ salaries and that “no one knows who is in charge in Iran,” noting that even Iranians themselves do not know who is leading them.

He said the United States is striking the Iranians “hard” and doing a “good job,” while affirming that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump confirmed that the situation there is “very good” and that the strait is “in excellent condition,” pointing out that oil is being exported from it, which is why prices are not rising.

He added that ships are transiting the Strait of Hormuz under the protection of the U.S. military, with a daily transit rate of approximately 30 ships.

On the issue of Venezuela, Trump said the United States has a good relationship with the country and that it has received millions of barrels of Venezuelan oil, adding that his country is “making a fortune” from this oil.

Trump noted that the Chinese president had remained neutral regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
