UAE strongly condemns the aggressive Iranian attack: a serious escalation, a blatant violation of sovereignty, and a direct threat to the state's security

The United Arab Emirates expressed its strong condemnation of the Iranian aggressive attack on the state using a drone, which was intercepted by air defense systems over its territorial waters. It considered this act a serious escalation and a blatant violation of the state’s sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as a direct threat to the safety of citizens and residents.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that these attacks constitute a serious escalation, an unacceptable encroachment, and a direct threat to the state’s security, stability, and territorial integrity, in contradiction with the principles of international law and the UN Charter.

The UAE stressed that it would not tolerate any compromise in protecting its security and sovereignty under any circumstances, and that it reserves its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks, in accordance with international law, to ensure the protection of its sovereignty, national security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors.

It further affirmed that this targeting is condemned and rejected by all legal and humanitarian standards, emphasizing the urgent need to halt these attacks immediately to ensure full compliance with a cessation of all hostile acts.

The UAE placed full responsibility for these attacks and their repercussions on Iran.

In this context, the UAE strongly condemned the aggressive missile attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that the aggressive attack constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and poses a threat to its security and stability.

The Ministry expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its support for all measures aimed at preserving its security and stability.
