'Meteorology': High of 50 degrees recorded today... chance of light rain tonight

The Director of the Meteorology Department, Essam Al-Ali, stated that the country is experiencing extremely hot and relatively humid weather along the coasts on Sunday, with a chance of light rain overnight, noting that the maximum temperature reached 50 degrees Celsius.
Al-Ali told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that relative humidity will decrease on Monday, with extremely hot weather continuing alongside moderate northwesterly winds, and the maximum temperature reaching 47 degrees Celsius.

He added that the country will experience extremely hot conditions in the coming days, with activity from northwesterly winds stirring up dust in some exposed areas.
He forecast that the weather on Tuesday will be hot with a chance of dust, while Wednesday and Thursday will also be hot, with noticeable wind activity stirring up dust, and maximum temperatures ranging between 44 and 45 degrees Celsius.
He urged citizens and residents to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, to drink plenty of water, and to exercise caution regarding the expected dust midweek.
