Civil Service: Return of morning and evening official working hours to the normal schedule

- Effective from next Tuesday across all government entities

The Diwan of Civil Service announced the return of the official morning and afternoon working hours system in all government entities to the standard schedule, effective Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in accordance with all relevant rules and regulations.

The Diwan clarified that this follows its Circular No. (11) of 2026 regarding the official working hours system during the summer season, issued in implementation of the Civil Service Council’s decision taken at its meeting No. (8) of 2026, held on May 14, 2026. That decision stipulated in item (7) that it would take effect from June 1, 2026, until August 31, 2026, after which the morning and afternoon working hours system would resume according to the established regulations.
