'Municipality': 26 violations of the shops and advertisements regulations in Farwaniya

The Kuwait Municipality announced that inspection teams from the Audit and Municipal Services Follow-up Department in the Farwaniya Governorate issued 26 violations of the Shops and Advertisements Regulations during the “License Your Activity… Take the Right Steps” campaign.

The Municipality’s Public Relations Department clarified that the campaign targeted inspections of business activities and health licenses for shops, as well as advertising permits, and involved taking regulatory measures against violators and ensuring compliance with the regulations and systems governing shops and advertisements across all their activities.

It added that the specialized inspection team conducted field visits to several investment and commercial areas in the Farwaniya Governorate to detect violations, verify that permitted activities were being carried out, and take necessary actions against violators.

The Municipality noted that the campaign resulted in the inspection of 65 shops and the issuance of 26 violations of the Shops and Advertisements Regulations.

The Municipality emphasized that the round of inspections is part of a series of field campaigns carried out by inspection teams in various governorates, according to a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with relevant departments, with the aim of enhancing oversight and raising the level of compliance with applicable regulations and systems.
