'Zero Violations'... Traffic Campaigns Silence the Annoying Voices

The General Directorate of Traffic has achieved a notable success in combating the noise violations caused by vehicles, following the tightening of oversight and the application of strict measures and penalties against offending vehicles and garages that install devices responsible for such noises. These measures have had a clear impact on roads and residential areas, with a noticeable decline in the disruptive vehicle noises that were previously heard in some neighborhoods.

According to a security source, the General Directorate of Traffic recorded zero noise-related vehicle violations yesterday during ongoing traffic campaigns across all governorates, underscoring the effectiveness of traffic enforcement in tackling these violations through the full force of the law.

The source emphasized that the “zero violations” figure resulted from the strict and uniform application of traffic laws to everyone without exception, alongside continued monitoring campaigns, follow-up on non-compliant vehicles and garages, and enhanced traffic presence in various governorates.
