'Blue Collar' surpasses Nepal and secures his second victory in the Asian Cup qualifiers

Kuwait’s senior men’s national basketball team defeated Nepal 88-65 on Friday in their third match of Group 1 in the preliminary qualifiers for the 2029 FIBA Asia Cup, held in Dubai.

With this result, the “Blue Team” secured their second victory in the qualifiers, following their opening win over Oman (88-63) before suffering a narrow three-point defeat to the United Arab Emirates (72-75) in their second match.

Group 1 comprises the national teams of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, and Nepal. The top three teams in the group will advance to the second round of the preliminary qualifiers for the 2029 FIBA Asia Cup.
