Kuwait's U-20 team loses to South Korea in the Asian Championship

Kuwait’s junior men’s handball team lost to South Korea 36-28 on Friday, in the quarterfinals of the 11th Asian Junior Men’s Handball Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup and is being held in Jordan.

South Korea took an early lead in the first half, ending the period with a five-goal advantage (15-10). Although Kuwait showed relative improvement in the second half, South Korea maintained their goal difference until the final whistle to secure the victory.

With this loss, Kuwait will face the loser of the match between Qatar and Jordan, scheduled for this evening, tomorrow on Saturday to determine positions from fifth to eighth.
