The Al-Khwarizmi Mind and Transformations of Critical Practice in 'Al-Adib Cultural'
The sixteenth issue of the cultural magazine “Al-Adib” has been released, featuring a variety of topics. These include the theme “Post-Informatics Digital Transformations,” ranging from the Internet of Things to the “Thinking Robot,” and passing through post-virtual supercomputing. This theme encompasses the new challenges emerging in the Fifth Society and Cyber Society, future trends in digital transformations, and podcasts in contemporary digital discourse. Research papers within this theme include: “The Algorithmic Mind and Transformations in Contemporary Arab Critical Practice” by Dr. Wasan Abdul-Moneim Yassin; “Post-Virtuality: The Digitalization of Literature and the Formation of New Consciousness” by Dr. Iman Abdul-Dakheel; “Liquid Modernity and the Authority of Interpretation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” by Dr. Awrad Muhammad Kazim; “Visual Narrative and Transformations of Digital Meaning” by Dr. Omar Raad Asaad; “Crisis of Self-Seeking in the Time of Liquid Love” by Dr. Insaf Salman; and “The Thinking Robot – Digitalization as a Thinking Structure” by critic Abbas Abdul-Jassim.
In the “Research” section, Dr. Sana Sabah Ali, Professor of Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Basra, presented a study on “The Debate of Space and Meaning in Contemporary Architecture according to Jean Baudrillard.” Moroccan researcher Hamza Bumlilik wrote about “Banks of Vision: A Shared Visual Language in the Mediterranean.” Critic Dr. Samir Al-Khalil offered “A Perspective on the Term – Post-Genre – Metagenre.” Dr. Ali Muhammad Yassin explored “Poetic Modernity – Breaking the Authority of the Model – The Structure of Commentary in the Poetic Sentence.” Researcher Dr. Tabarak Ammar Hassan Al-Azawi presented a study on “The Ontology of the Text and Transformations of Consciousness,” using “The Wretched Consciousness” as the focal point of her ontological study.
