'Labor Force': Doctor arrested for injecting unapproved substances in her home in Al-Mesaileh

The Public Authority for Manpower announced the apprehension of a physician working as a general practitioner, after monitoring her use of social media to advertise the provision of injection services using substances not licensed by the Ministry of Health at her residence in the Musail area.

The Authority stated in a statement on its “X” platform today that the Labor Inspection Department had identified the physician’s activities. Based on monitoring and follow-up efforts, coordination was established with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Criminal Security Sector, and the Ministry of Health, represented by the Medical Licensing Department and the Drug Inspection Department.

It added that, after obtaining approval from the relevant authorities, the physician was apprehended, and the standard legal and administrative procedures were taken against her, with her case referred to the competent authorities.
