CENTCOM: 75 commercial vessels rerouted since resumption of Iran blockade

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that, as of August 27, its forces had altered the course of 75 commercial vessels, detained three ships, and boarded two vessels to ensure compliance, since the resumption of the blockade on Iran.

CENTCOM added that U.S. Navy EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft continue to conduct patrols in Middle Eastern airspace, coinciding with the United States’ ongoing enforcement of the blockade on Iran.
