Syria and Saudi Arabia sign memoranda of understanding to develop railways and road transport

Syria and Saudi Arabia signed two memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics, particularly in the railway and road transport sectors, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus.

The memoranda were signed by Syrian Transport Minister Yasser Badr and his Saudi counterpart, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in the transport sector.

The two memoranda aim to build capacity, exchange expertise, and conduct studies, thereby contributing to the rehabilitation of Syria’s road and railway infrastructure and stimulating transport and trade flows through Syria.
