"The Blue" advances past "The Green" to the Asian Youth Handball Championship semifinals
Kuwait’s junior national handball team defeated their Saudi counterparts 30-28 on Wednesday in the final round of the group stage within Group B of the 11th Asian Championship, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Junior World Championship, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Kuwaiti players took a 12-8 lead in the first half and maintained their strong performance in the second half to secure the victory, thereby guaranteeing their place in the semifinals. Kuwaiti player Abdulmohsen Al-Hathloul was named the match’s best player.
