Criminal Investigation Department Arrests 45 Individuals in Widespread Security Operation in Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh
Among them were 36 fugitives wanted for absconding and 9 individuals involved in thefts, violations, and possession of narcotics.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation conducted a large-scale security operation in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, following several reports of thefts and fires that had occurred in the district. This operation is part of continuous security efforts to apprehend fugitives and lawbreakers and to combat crimes and illegal practices.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation resulted in the arrest of 45 individuals. Security inquiries revealed that 36 of them were wanted in connection with absconding cases, including two women wanted for incest. They were referred to the Department for Combating Human Trafficking and Negative Phenomena to take the necessary legal action against them.

The ministry added that search and investigation efforts led to the arrest of 9 individuals involved in various crimes and violations, including the theft of cables, copper, iron, car exhausts, and women’s accessories. Additionally, one individual was found in possession of tobacco, while another was found with substances suspected to be methamphetamine (Shabu) and chemical narcotics.
All necessary legal procedures were completed against those arrested, and they were referred to the competent authorities. Reports were also prepared regarding those ordered to be deported from the country.
