Deputy Minister of Health and Chief of Civil Defense Inspect Readiness of Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital

- Reviewing security and safety measures, enhancing emergency response efficiency, and strengthening coordination to protect patients and staff

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, accompanied by Commander of the General Fire Force Major General Talal Mohammed Al-Roumi, conducted a field inspection at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital to assess security and safety protocols and the facility’s readiness levels.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the inspection covered various hospital facilities, service areas, and systems related to safety and preventive measures. The Deputy Minister and the Fire Force Commander reviewed operational mechanisms and established procedures for handling emergencies, as well as the readiness and response speed of relevant teams, ensuring the safety of patients and staff and the continuity of healthcare services.

The statement added that the inspection was part of efforts to verify compliance with safety requirements and preventive measures, assess the efficiency of adopted systems and protocols, and enhance coordination between the Ministry of Health and the General Fire Force regarding the security and safety of healthcare facilities.

Sheikh Dr. Salman emphasized the importance of continuously reviewing security and safety measures and raising readiness levels across all healthcare facilities. During the inspection, various technical aspects and measures aimed at strengthening prevention and improving emergency response efficiency were discussed, contributing to providing a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff.
