- Continued service at three branches during the holiday
Worqa Bank announced the operating hours of its branches during the Mawlid al-Nabi holiday, in line with the circular issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait declaring next Thursday an official holiday in observance of the Prophet’s Birthday. Normal official working hours will resume on Sunday, August 30.
The bank clarified that all Worqa Bank branches, including the SIDI branch, will be closed on Thursday to celebrate the occasion, while banking services will continue to be provided to customers through several branches that will remain open during the holiday period.
Three branches to continue serving customers
In this context, Abdullah Al-Shaile, Senior Manager of Branches at the Retail Banking Group of Worqa Bank, noted that three of its branches will continue to provide banking services to customers during the holiday: the Egaila Branch, the Avenues Branch, and the Airport Branch. This reflects the bank’s commitment to offering additional service channels to meet customers’ banking needs during the holiday.
Al-Shaile encouraged customers to take advantage of the services offered by the branches open during the holiday, as well as the bank’s digital and electronic channels, which enable customers to conduct various transactions easily and securely without needing to visit branches.
Digital services
The statement noted that the bank continues to offer a wide range of banking services through its digital channels, allowing customers to manage their banking needs around the clock with ease. This underscores the bank’s commitment to providing a flexible banking experience that aligns with customers’ needs and expectations.
This initiative is part of Worqa Bank’s strategy to enhance digital banking solutions and provide customers with multiple options to conduct their transactions, keeping pace with rapid developments in the banking sector and improving access to banking services.
Al-Shaile confirmed that official working hours at all branches will resume on Sunday, August 30, 2026, according to regular operating hours, following the end of the holiday.
On this occasion, Worqa Bank reaffirmed its commitment to serving its customers and meeting their banking needs, ensuring continuity of services during official holidays, and delivering a comprehensive banking experience that combines easy access to branches with innovative digital services.
