'Ministry of Health': School health centers receive new students in various governorates
The Ministry of Health announced the reception of new students at school health centers across various governorates, as part of preparations for the new academic year and to provide necessary health services to students before the start of classes.
The Ministry clarified that student reception will take place at several designated health centers, including the Hamad Al-Saqer Health Center in Adailiya, Capital Governorate; Al-Raqai Health Center in Farwaniya; the School Health Center in Bayan, Hawalli Governorate; Al-Fahaheel and Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Centers (Sector D) in Ahmadi Governorate; School Health Center No. 60 in Adan, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate; Al-Jahra Health Center; and Al-Mutla Health Center (N8) in Al-Jahra Governorate.
It specified that student reception during morning hours runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from Sunday to Thursday, while centers receive students during evening hours from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Ministry noted that Al-Mutla (N8) Center receives students only during morning hours on Sundays and Tuesdays, whereas Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Center (Sector D) receives students exclusively during morning hours.
The Ministry urged parents and new students to visit the designated centers during announced working hours and to avail themselves of the provided school health services, emphasizing the importance of booking an appointment to open a health file for new students via the Ministry of Health’s website.
