Minister of Health: Committed to Strengthening Cooperation with Lebanon and Leveraging Its Expertise to Develop Health Services

Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi held talks today, Sunday, with Ghadi Al-Khoury, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the State of Kuwait, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector, including medical training, exchange of expertise, support for scientific research, and development of health infrastructure.
Minister Al-Awadi emphasized, in a press statement issued by the Ministry of Health, the ministry’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation ties with the Lebanese Republic and leveraging its expertise to develop health services and enhance the quality of medical care across various specialties.

He noted that this meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to enhance international cooperation and develop the health sector in the State of Kuwait. For his part, the Lebanese Ambassador, according to the statement, affirmed his country’s readiness to provide the latest medical technologies and services that would contribute to the development of the health sector in the State of Kuwait.
Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Health Services Affairs at the ministry, Dr. Hisham Kalander, attended the meeting.
