National Guard Deputy Commander: 'Watan Flag 2' Exercise Embodies Integration Between Military and Security Agencies

National Guard Deputy Commander Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjiss affirmed on Sunday that the “Raya Watan 2” exercise embodies the integration between military and security entities, contributes to unifying concepts and training plans, and enhances coordination among them.

This statement was made by Lieutenant General Al-Burjiss, as reported in a press release from the National Guard following his attendance at the execution of the second phase of the “Raya Watan 2” exercise at the Operations Center and the Security System and Crisis Management Administration of the General Command of the National Guard, in cooperation with the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the General Fire Force.

Lieutenant General Al-Burjiss added that the exercise provides an opportunity for the General Staff bodies of the National Guard to train on operations management and timely decision-making, according to scenarios that simulate the nature of challenges and tasks that combat and support units may face under emergency conditions, commending the efforts of the participants in executing the exercise.
