In parallel, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced on Saturday that the country had boosted oil production to “record highs,” making it the world’s largest energy producer.
Wright said in a post on his “X” platform that “the U.S. oil and gas sector has raised production rates to unprecedented record levels, making the United States the world’s largest producer of oil and natural gas.”
