Iran currently has only 'Abu Ja'far al-Houthi' left

In folk sayings, there is a proverb: “When God is angry with an ant, He gives it wings.” When we look at a map of the world, we see that Iran is small in area, no matter how large it claims to be. Illusion has led it to perceive itself as larger than reality. Furthermore, when its regime looked into the mirror of politics, it deluded itself into believing it was a lion, while in truth it was a cat without claws.

Over the past five decades, events have confirmed this, as the regime brought sanctions upon itself by deviating from the normal political behavior of states. It resolved to implement a plan rife with illusions built on sectarian superstitions, which are incompatible with Islamic logic first, and unacceptable to the world second. This has led to its repeated failure in every attempt to realize its illusory model.

Today, amid developments since February 28, the regime has found itself facing an angry international community that will not tolerate any sabotage, particularly in the global energy nexus, which has turned against it.

Therefore, the language of threats and intimidation is directed more inward than outward. However, the regime realizes that this will not change reality, especially as the crisis has entered a phase of maximum pressure on the global economy, exacerbating the suffering of the Iranian people.

Unfortunately, while this regime was spending billions on supporting sectarian proxies, it ignored its own interior and the plight of its population of over 90 million. On the contrary, when it was able to intervene in Syria, it deluded itself into believing it could influence the cultural and ideological approaches of the Syrian people and subjugate them. Thus, with the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the monstrous nature of what it sought to achieve in Damascus, historically known as the beating heart of Arabism, began to be revealed.

Lebanon was not in a better position. In fact, the sectarian discrimination practiced by Iran led to the country losing its national immunity, deepening vertical divisions in this nation, which serves as a “barometer of the region.” Consequently, the sectarian rhetoric used in Lebanon since 1979 ignited the sparks of sectarian strife across the region, giving rise to extremist radicals and terrorist groups.

Today, following recent developments in Iraq, and Baghdad’s insistence on disarming militias directed by Tehran, along with the approval of all religious authorities, as well as the fall of the Assad regime, the weakening of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the awakening of the people of southern Lebanon who found themselves living through a major catastrophe, the current regime has become like an ant under divine wrath.

This reality was confirmed after Iran clashed with the United States and Israel, and its leaders were killed at the outset of the war. It also lost any sympathy from its neighbors, whom it made its primary enemies. Sound political logic dictates that relations with them should be based on good neighborliness and respect for sovereignty, to preserve areas for maneuvering to support strategic positions. However, the Persian mindset, built on arrogance and imperial dreams, has undermined all of this.

Today, the Iranian regime has nothing left but the Houthi “dung beetle,” which attempts to play the role assigned to it by Tehran. Yet, it too is breathing its last breaths. With the expansion of suffocating economic sanctions on Iran, the end is near, especially since regime leaders are infighting for immediate gains to facilitate their escape when the time comes, as they are convinced that popular accountability is inevitable, whether soon or late.

Today, everyone is called upon to prepare for the day after the fall of the Iranian regime, and to work toward sustainable development in the region, and to rid the area of all the consequences caused by this evil regime over five decades.
