Ministry of Public Works to allocate 12 contracts for infrastructure renewal in 28 areas

- Radical maintenance of roads in 52 areas and locations from August 22 to 27

The annual plan of the Ministry of Public Works for project contracts for the current fiscal year revealed the inclusion of 12 contracts for conducting studies, design, and supervision of infrastructure improvement and renewal works in 28 residential areas and locations, paving the way for their tendering through the Central Tenders Board in accordance with the law, given that the estimated cost of each contract exceeds 75,000 dinars.

The ministry aims to enhance the efficiency of sewage networks and address failures resulting from the aging of some components and the expiration of their useful life, thereby contributing to environmental protection, reducing pollution, and improving service efficiency.

In this context, the ministry announced the commencement of radical maintenance works under new road contracts in 52 locations across the six governorates (including 13 locations on highways and 39 residential areas) during the period from August 22 to 27. It emphasized the application of modern mechanisms to accelerate implementation and continuous field follow-up, ensuring that executing companies adhere to approved technical specifications and quality and safety standards.

Targeted areas and locations include:

- Capital and Farwaniya: Al-Rawda, Al-Adiliya, Al-Khalidiya, Al-Mansuriya, Dasma, Dasman, Binid Qar, Al-Rey, Al-Amariya, Al-Rabiyah, Al-Shuwaikh Health, and the Free Zone.

- Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer: Ad-Dahr, Jabir Al-Ali, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Al-Qurain, Al-Munqaf, Ahmadi, Al-Sabahiyah, South Al-Sabahiyah, Fahad Al-Ahmad, Al-Qasour, Adnan, and Al-Masailah.

- Kuwait International Airport, Ad-Dajeej, Al-Mubarakiyah Camps, and Subhan.
