Kuwait-US Joint Military Committee Holds Annual Meeting at the Pentagon

The annual meeting of the Kuwaiti-American Joint Military Commission (JMC), held at the US Department of Defense headquarters, the Pentagon, was chaired by Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Michael Demino, US Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East and Central Asia.
The meeting included a number of workshops for participating teams from both sides, during which joint cooperation in the fields of maintenance and training was reviewed, and a memorandum of understanding for strategic partnership with the National Guard in Maryland was signed.
