Bitcoin price rises by more than 5% for the third consecutive day
The price of Bitcoin rose by more than 5 percent on Friday for the third consecutive day, driven by investor optimism regarding U.S. cryptocurrency regulations, alongside a surprise move by the U.S. Treasury Department to repurchase more of its bonds, which bolstered demand for high-risk assets.
The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization surged 6.6 percent to reach $77,472.44, marking its highest level since May.
With these gains, Bitcoin’s price has risen by more than 20 percent since Wednesday, amid improved investor appetite for high-risk assets.
