It is said that an eagle lived in one of the mountains, nesting at the top of a tree. The nest contained four eggs. Then, a violent earthquake shook the ground, causing one of the eagle’s eggs to fall from the nest and roll until it came to rest in a chicken coop.
The chickens believed they had to protect and care for the eagle’s egg. An elderly hen volunteered to look after it until it hatched. One day, the egg hatched, and a beautiful young eagle emerged. However, this eagle was raised as if it were a chicken.
One day, while playing in the chicken coop yard, the eagle saw a group of eagles soaring high in the sky. He wished he could fly high like them, but the chickens mocked him, saying, “You are nothing but a chicken; you will never be able to fly high like eagles.” After that, the eagle gave up his dream of soaring high. Overcome by despair, he lived a long life like a chicken and eventually died.

It seems that strong willpower in some people truly moves mountains. An American once tried to enter the business world in 1831 but lost his business the following year. He then entered politics but failed. He returned to business but lost again. He went back to politics, hoping to become a member of the U.S. Congress, but he did not win. Nevertheless, he later won the presidency of the United States. This person was Abraham Lincoln.
Similarly, former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was born into a poor Indian family. He could not afford his education expenses, but he exerted tremendous effort to continue his studies. He became a philosopher, a scientist, and the President of India. Strong willpower is evident even in the sports arena. Germany had been planning to defeat Brazil in the 2014 FIFA World Cup since 2001, meaning they spent thirteen years strengthening their national team. They indeed managed to defeat Brazil with a score of 7-1. There are many such examples.
Commentary: Do not resign yourself to a negative reality. If you are an eagle and dream of soaring high in the sky of success, pursue your dreams. Do not listen to the words of chickens (those around you who undermine your ambitions) or negative remarks. You possess the ability, by the will of God Almighty. Be strong-willed. How did Arabs in the desert, lacking military capabilities, defeat the Persians and Romans, conquer Andalusia, and establish an influential civilization and culture? It was the power of faith, determination, and strong willpower.
