He is Retired Lieutenant General Thabet Mohammed Al-Muhanna, a man known by Kuwait and who knows it, to the extent that you might feel it has settled within him before his ancestors settled it there since ancient times.

Lieutenant General Al-Muhanna witnessed, during his tenure in several positions at the Ministry of Interior, important stages in Kuwait’s history, in a career full of contribution and achievement, leading to his retirement as a Lieutenant General.

In 2014, he was appointed Governor of the Capital, bringing with him years of experience and the spirit of a field official, as he viewed the capital as Kuwait’s face and its commercial and historical heart. During that period, he attended many national and social occasions, and remained following up on the governorate’s issues and facilities, relying on his long security and administrative experience.
