Kuwait condemns occupation attacks on Gaza and warns against undermining ceasefire stabilization efforts
-Rejected the "E1" settlement project, affirming that occupation policies violate international law
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation today, Thursday, of the attacks launched by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, and the resulting casualties among civilians.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the continuation of these attacks undermines efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire and the full implementation of the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip in all its stages, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.
The Ministry also condemned the continued illegal settlement policies of the Israeli occupation authorities in the occupied West Bank, including the "E1" settlement project, in violation of international law and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, reaffirming its rejection of all measures aimed at altering the legal and demographic status of the occupied Palestinian territories.
It called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities in halting these aggressions and violations, safeguarding the rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, and supporting efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
