'Food Authority': 42 violation reports issued against food establishments in Hawalli

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of Hawalli Governorate, conducted an inspection tour of several food establishments in the governorate, resulting in the issuance of 42 seizure and violation reports. These violations included expired health licenses, non-compliance with health certificates for employees, breaches of health and general hygiene standards, and the transportation of food materials without a license.

In a press statement, the Authority clarified that food samples were taken and sent to the laboratory to verify their safety and suitability for human consumption.

The Authority emphasized that it continues its supervisory tours to safeguard the health and safety of consumers.
