Electricity Authority: Technical fault takes transformer out of service, cutting power to limited parts of Salwa

The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced today that the main substation transformer in Salwa (A) has been taken out of service due to a technical fault, resulting in power outages in limited parts of Blocks 7 and 10 in the Salwa area.

The ministry confirmed that its emergency teams are on site and working to restore power as quickly as possible, thanking the public for their understanding and cooperation.
