Turkish Presidency: We will not fall into the trap set by Netanyahu in Syria

The Turkish Presidency confirmed on Thursday that Ankara “will not fall into the trap” set by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Syria, following Israel’s attack on a military airport in the country’s northwest.

Burhan Din Duran, the communication director at the Turkish Presidency, stated that his country “has sufficient experience to avoid falling into the trap of figures like Netanyahu, whose aim is to undermine peace and stability in our region.”

Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Defense issued a statement calling on Israel to halt its “reckless” attacks and comply with international law in order to restore peace in Syria and the region.
