Tenders for Electricity: Halt Grounding Compensation Procedures at 150 Stations

The Board of Directors of the Central Tenders Committee decided to notify the Ministry of Electricity to halt the tender procedures for the “Grounding System Compensation Works” at 150 main substations, in response to a request from the Appeals Committee, and to provide it with copies of all documents and information related to one of the appeals, as it is currently reviewing the appeal and preparing to rule on it.

The Committee also decided to provide the Appeals Committee with copies of all documents.

Earlier, during a meeting held on the fifth of the current month, the Ministry had requested that the Committee award the tender for a total amount of 3.8 million Kuwaiti dinars; however, the Board of Directors of the Committee, by a majority of its members, declined to approve the Ministry’s recommendation.
