Chief of Staff Discusses with His American Counterpart Enhancing Military Cooperation and Regional Security

The Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, held talks today, Wednesday, with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine on ways to develop joint military cooperation between the two sides.

The Kuwaiti Armed Forces General Staff Office stated in a press release that the meeting took place during Lieutenant General Al-Sharhan’s visit to his counterpart, General Caine, at the U.S. Department of Defense headquarters, the Pentagon, as part of his official visit to the United States.

It added that the bilateral relations were reviewed during the meeting, and existing strategic partnerships were discussed along with ways to enhance them in the interest of shared objectives.
