Kuwin sweeps the top three spots in the Girls' Singles 'Under 11' event at the West Asia Table Tennis Championship
Kuwait’s under-11 girls’ table tennis team secured gold, silver, and bronze medals in the individual event at the West Asian Championship currently being held in Jordan, with the competition concluding tomorrow, Thursday.
Player Haya Salah claimed the gold medal after defeating her teammate Shaikha Al-Ali in the final, who took the silver. Meanwhile, player Dalal Al-Shamari won the bronze medal after defeating Saudi player Shouq Al-Dosari.
Kuwait swept the top three positions in the individual event, thanks to outstanding performances by the Kuwaiti players in a tournament that featured 16 participants from various participating countries.
Following today’s results, Kuwait’s overall tally at the championship across all events stands at three gold, two silver, and three bronze medals.
Kuwait is participating in the championship across various age categories for both boys and girls, including the senior category, as well as under-19, under-17, under-15, under-13, and under-11. The championship saw broad participation from the national teams of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
