More than 30 killed in Brazil bus fire after collision with truck
The Brazilian Fire Department announced that a bus packed with passengers collided with a truck and caught fire early Saturday morning, killing more than 30 people.
After removing the victims’ bodies from a major highway near the town of Teófilo Otoni in the state of Minas Gerais, the state fire department estimated the number of fatalities to be between 32 and 35, including at least one child.
The final death toll remains uncertain due to the severe burning of the bodies, which has made identification difficult.
