Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences: $2 million from two companies for 'Emergency Response'

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced yesterday two contributions, each valued at one million US dollars, from Al Amaliya Energy Company and Mizan Holding Company, totaling two million US dollars, to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, as part of ongoing national initiatives supporting the fund’s resources and objectives.

In a press statement, the fund noted that the addition of the two companies to the list of contributors reflects the diversity of participation in supporting the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, encompassing entities from the energy and oil field services sectors, as well as food, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. This broadens the contributor base and expands the scope of involvement in the initiative.

The fund added that these contributions help strengthen the financial resources available to the fund and enhance its capacity to finance priority needs and projects, enabling the allocation of resources according to the actual requirements of beneficiary entities and supporting efforts to address the impacts of emergency conditions and restore the efficiency of vital infrastructure and services.

Al Amaliya Energy, established in Kuwait in 2015, is a leading company in integrated exploration and production services in Kuwait, operating a number of drilling rigs across various regions of the country.
