'Interior': 79 violators and wanted persons apprehended in a security campaign in 'Ahmadi'
The Directorates of Security Affairs sector, represented by the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate, carried out a security campaign in several areas of the governorate, focusing on the Fahaheel area. The operation targeted illegal street vendors in violation of labor and residency laws, as well as wanted individuals and those violating laws and regulations.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the campaign resulted in the apprehension of 79 individuals and the issuance of 63 traffic violation tickets. It clarified that those apprehended included 39 individuals whose identities could not be verified, 29 wanted persons pending legal proceedings, five individuals whose visas and residency permits had expired, and four illegal street vendors.
It added that two individuals were apprehended: one was wanted by the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the other was found in an abnormal condition and in possession of intoxicating substances.
