UAE Defense: Air defenses detected two ballistic missiles coming from Iran

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that air defense systems detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran toward the country. The first missile fell outside the nation’s territorial waters, while the second landed within its territorial waters.

In a statement posted on its X platform, the Ministry of Defense affirmed that it remains fully prepared and on high alert to address any threats, and to firmly counter any actions aimed at undermining the country’s security, thereby safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its national interests and resources.

The ministry urged the public to obtain all news from official state sources and to avoid rumors and misinformation.
